Cultural Orissa 05 Nights / 06 Days (Bhubhaneshwar - Puri)

Day 01: Bhubhaneshwar
On arrival at Bhubhaneshwar airport and take the transfer to your hotel. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Rest of the day free or at own. Overnight in Bhubhaneshwar.
Day 02: Bhubhaneshwar Sightseeing- (City of temples)
After breakfast embark on a city tour of Bhubhaneshwar. The well planned capital of Orissa, is a city of temples. It had 7000 temples at one time of which more than 500 remain today. These temples built over a period of one thousand years reflect the grandeur of high quality workmanship of Kalinga (ancient name of the State) temple art. Visit Temples like, Parasurameshwar (7th A.D.) famous for its latticed windows, Mukteshwar(10th A.D.) with its profusion of wall carvings, Lingaraj(11th A.D.) dominates the landscape rising to a high of 46 Mts. and finest representation of Kalinga Art, Bindusagar, the Ocean drop tank, Rajarani (11th A.D.) with its Exquisite carving. Afternoon visit the twin hill Udayagiri and Khandgiri the Jain Caves. Excavated in between 2nd & 1st century B.C. By the famous king of Kalinga, named Kharvela, was the rain resort of Jain Monks. It is one of the earliest specimens of cave architecture of India. Enjoy the lovely sunset on the small hill. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Bhubhaneshwar.
Day 03: Bhubhaneshwar – Nandankanan – Bhubhaneshwar (Approx 35 Km one way)
Post breakfast embark on a full day excursion trip to Nandankan (Monday Closed), the zoo. Amidst the natural beauty of natural forest adjacent to Chandaka-Dampara Wildlife Sanctuary, Nandankanan lies in the vicinity of Kanjia Lake. Return to hotel. Overnight in Bhubhaneshwar.
Day 04: Bhubhaneshwar – Konark – Puri (Approx 75 Kms)
After breakfast take the transfer to Puri. Enroute visit Konark (The Sun Temple) also known as Black Pagoda. This 13th century temple is visited by visitors from all over the world. The temple is in the architectural images of the mythical chariot of the Sun God, here the Kalingan temple style has reached in its grand climax stage. The left structure standing among the sand dunes of the Seashore is the most impressive of the Orissa temples, the horses at the entrance, the encircling friezes, the chariot wheels are executed with exuberance. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Overnight in Puri.
Day 05: Puri – Sightseeing -Chilka Lake- Puri (Approx 50 kms 2 Hrs)
Early morning one can visit the beach for Sunrise. Post breakfast visit to Vishnu temple (Known as Jagannath Temple) and later embark on an excursion trip to Chilika Lake at Satapada, the biggest brackish wetland of Asia is regarded as a marvel of nature. Connected to the Bay of Bengal with a narrow channel. It’s dazzling blue water, its Isles and Hillocks, the lovely birds, the fisher folks with their traditional fishing boats floating on its shinning blue surface, all these makes it very fascinating. Later cruise to the famous Kalijai temple, enjoy the Dolphin Show and Nalaban (the winter home of a million of migratory birds -Best time-Mid Oct - Feb). Evening take the transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Puri.
Puri - Bhubhaneshwar (Approx 75 Kms)
Day 06: After breakfast take the departure transfer to Bhubhaneshwar Airport for your onward journey.

Sunderban 04 Nights / 05 Days
Day 01:
Kolkata – Sunderbans (110 Kms 2 ˝ Hrs)
7.30 A.M: Pick up from City Hotel and transfer to
Sonakhali jetty through beautiful countryside’s, rural
bazaar with stopovers at Local Tea shop and
Fishermen’s' villages.
9.30 A.M: Arrive at Sonakhali. Transfer of luggage
and persons to our motorized boat.
10.00 A.M: Briefing and interpretation by our
naturalist over Tea/Coffee/Welcome drink followed by 2 hours
spectacular cruise through river
Hogol,Gomor,Durgaduani and Gumdi. Optional stopover at
Gosaba- one of the earliest human settlements of Sunderbans
to visit the house of Sir Danniel
Hamilton-a Scottish banker who introduced agriculture and
initiated the first co-operative movement of India here.
12.30 P.M: On arrival check-in to your Resort.
13.00 P.M: Hot lunch followed by 3 hours birding and
game cruise to Sudhanyakhali watch tower through creeks and
canals.
17.30 P.M: Back to Resort by evening.
19.30 P.M: Dinner and overnight halt.
Day 02:
Sunderban
7.00 A.M: Morning tea.
7.30 A.M: Breakfast
8.00 A.M: Full day game cruise and birding tour to
Netidhopani and Dobanki watch towers. Lunch will be served
on board.
17.00 P.M: Return to Resort.
19.30 P.M: Dinner and overnight halt.
Day 03:
Sunderban
7.00 A.M: Morning tea.
8.00 A.M: Breakfast
8.30 A.M: Full day birding and game cruise to Burir
Dabri Watch tower. Return to Resort by sun down. Dinner and
overnight halt.
Day 04: Sunderban
Visit Jharkhali forest and waterways to watch the wintering water fowls. Back to Resort by sun down. Evening experience the traditional local Rural theatre (Bonobibi Yatra) performed by the villagers. The theatre tells interesting story about the Tiger Lord, Forest God and Goddess, fishermen and honey collectors with lot of songs and dances. Overnight at Resort.
Day 05: Sunderban
7.00 A.M: Morning Tea.
8.00 A.M: Breakfast
9.00 A.M to 11.30 A.M:
Guided Village Walk in which participants are encouraged to
have a close interaction with the local villagers and their
livelihood, Local craft and cuisines, Indigenous farming and
household equipments used by the villagers. Guided adventure
cruise by manually-oared country boat.
12.00 Noon: Back to Resort. Lunch and proceed to
Sonakhali.
15.00 P.M: Arrive at Sonakhali and transfer to
Kolkata by car
